To be able to carry out theatre projects throughout the year it is vital we have people interested in taking part. We call this “being part of the team”. Due to outside factors productions tend to have different people involved and we always need new people of all ages, experience and interests, both backstage and performing.
It is most helpful for us to know if you might be interested in being part of the team for any particular production. Registering your interest does not commit you to take part, nor does it guarantee you a part or the opportunity to be in the backstage team. We always have auditions before each production which is particularly important if you have not performed with us before.
If you move on to take an active part in any production or public event you will be asked to become a member of the Dartmouth Players and pay a small subscription. This means you have full insurance protection in the unlikely event of an accident.
Registering your interest now means we have your contact details when we commence the project prior to auditions. This helps us to plan things early.
